     Symposium / Exhibition Call and Scope

 

​

  The main purposes of the symposium is to make the professions and Turkey / UNESCO Intangible cultural heritage carriers, which reflect the cultural heritage of Anatolia and are included in the Traditional Turkish Handicrafts that continue today, more visible, raise awareness about their importance and work, and Supporting dialogue in respect of cultural diversity by ensuring mutual coordination in the studies in the field of Traditional Handicrafts, giving place to original academic studies written in every field. Performing and exhibiting original works with workshops where local artists and craftsmen and intangible cultural heritage carriers artists and craftsmen will be invited / supported by Sinop Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, where local artists are invited. To make written and visual inventories of all studies.

   Thanks to the wide scope of the event, an academic resource will be created and published in Traditional Turkish Handicrafts based on written and visual data with the papers from the participants. Inventory based on the information obtained (book / catalog) cultural directorates, universities. It will be shared with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey. Especially providing information / experience / culture sharing by bringing together local artists who work in the field of Turkish Handcrafts as registered or unregistered / exhibiting their individual works through social media, supporting the artists working in these fields with the goal of local - universal, promoting individuals and regions, Its announcement with written / visual / digital opportunities and press support, and its promotion throughout the province - Region - Turkey - Europe - Worldwide will benefit all participants and Traditional Turkish Handicrafts.

SCOPE OF THE EVENT

Coordinated by Ondokuz Mayıs University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Ceramic Glass Department and supported by Sinop Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, this event covers a wide audience of participants with academicians, Intangible Cultural Heritage Carriers, Handicraft Associations, researchers, artists and craftsmen from all universities in the relevant fields are taken inside.

Papers written in all areas of Fine Arts such as Graphic Design / Visual Communication Design and
Participation in the exhibition will be subject for an evaluation.

Abstract Submission

You must apply to the symposium by sending a summary. The summary evaluation process takes a maximum of 4 days. The author is informed without delay as to the result of the evaluation. Your abstracts must be in the 200-300 word range. You must send your abstracts in word / doc format to anadolusanatsamsun@gmail.com by August 20, 2021 at the latest.

Full Text Submission
There is no full text requirement in our symposium. If you want to publish your full texts in the proceedings book, you must send your FULL TEXTS to anadolusanatsamsun@gmail.com address by September 15, 2021 at the latest after your abstract is accepted.

WRITING RULES

Since the symposium has an INTERNATIONAL nature, it is mandatory to send an abstract in English.
Full Text Writing Rules
- Times New Roman, 12 pt. (Manuscript title, author names, institutions, e-mail addresses, abstract and keywords should all be in 12 pt.

For parts such as graphics, tables
the font size of the author can be determined by the author in the most appropriate way)
- Give the line spacing 1.25
- Do not indent at the beginning of the paragraph from the left.
- MAIN titles should be written in CAPITAL letters and bold
- Citation and Bibliography should be arranged in APA style.
- Your full texts must be at least 5 pages.
- ABSTRACT, INTRODUCTION, RESEARCH AND FINDINGS, CONCLUSION AND REFERENCES in your full texts
parts of it should be shown under separate headings.
